WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Camden Property Trust (CPT) released a profit for its second quarter that climbed from last year.
The company said its bottom line climbed to $105.58 million, or $1.15 per share. This was up from $102.04 million, or $1.12 per share, in last year's second quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.15 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.3% to $221.48 million. This was up from $206.43 million last year.
