WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Leucadia National Corp. (LUK) released a profit for its second quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line came in at $57.29 million, or $0.15 per share. This was higher than $16.41 million, or $0.04 per share, in last year's second quarter.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 7.4% to $2.63 billion. This was down from $2.84 billion last year.
