VIENNA (dpa-AFX) - Bouygues (BOUYY.PK) reported a first-half net loss attributable to the Group of 28 million euros compared to a loss of 42 million euros, last year. Excluding exceptional items, net profit attributable to the Group was 46 million euros compared to a loss of 4 million euros, previous year.
First-half sales were 14.67 billion euros compared to 15.10 billion euros, prior year. Bouygues Telecom's sales reached 2.29 billion euros in the first half of 2016, up 6% on the first half of 2015.
Looking forward, Bouygues said its outlook for 2016 provided with the first-quarter 2016 release is confirmed. Bouygues Telecom confirmed its return to long-term sales and earnings growth and maintained its EBITDA margin target of 25% for 2017.
The Board of Bouygues has unanimously appointed Olivier Roussat and Philippe Marien as Deputy CEOs.
