ATLANTA (dpa-AFX) - Delta Airlines has unveiled new uniforms designed by famous designer Zac Posen for about 60,000 of its employees.
It is the first overhaul in uniforms for Delta Airlines in a decade, which is the number two U.S. airline. All three of the largest U.S. carriers have now unveiled redesigned uniforms in recent years.
The new uniforms will be available for its flight attendants, gate agent and technicians. Land's End will supply the uniforms to the Atlanta-based airline. The previous uniforms predates Delta's 2008 merger with Northwest Airlines.
About 1,000 of the airline's front line staff will begin testing the new uniforms in December. The new uniforms will roll out to all the employees in the first quarter of 2018.
