BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs will release Swiss GDP data for the third quarter at 1:45 am ET Thursday. Economists forecast the economy to expand at a rate of 0.3 percent on quarter, after growing 0.6 percent in the second quarter.
Ahead of the data, the franc traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the franc held steady against the greenback and the euro, it fell against the pound. Against the yen, it recovered.
The franc was worth 1.0098 against the greenback, 112.91 against the yen, 1.0787 against the euro and 1.2745 against the pound as of 1:45 am ET.
