WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Three members of the Trump family have found a place in TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People of 2017 list.
U.S. President Donald Trump, his daughter Ivanka Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner - both top presidential advisers - entered the list for a second time.
The US President has been included in the 'Leaders' category, while Ivanka and Kushner have been placed in 'Pioneers' section.
Each person on the list is introduced in a profile written by another notable figure.
Trump's profile is written by House Speaker Paul Ryan.
'In becoming the 45th President of the United States, he completely rewrote the rules of politics and reset the course of this country,' Ryan wrote of Trump.
Introduction to Kushner has been written by none of the than the former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. He commended the 35 year-old New York real estate executive for undertaking the complex responsibility of a smooth transitioning of the presidency between parties.
Wendi Murdoch, the wife of media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, says in her introduction that she is deeply impressed by Ivanka's 'courage to leave behind life as she knew it and move her young family to Washington to pursue positive change'.
Three key members of the Trump administration also have found a place in the list: Secretary of Defense James Mattis, White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, and White House Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon.
The TIME magazine selected 25 'Pioneers,' 24 'leaders,' 20 'Icons,' 17 Artists and 14 Titans to its annual '100 Most Influential People in the World' list.
The personalities selected by TIME editors this year also include Olympic gymnastic champion Simone Biles, Pope Francis, Republican donor Rebekah Mercer, actor Ryan Reynolds, Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, philanthropist Melinda Gates, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
