LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Consumer confidence in the United Kingdom ebbed in April, the latest survey from GfK revealed on Friday with an index score of -7.
That was in line with expectations, and down from -6 in March.
'Although the Overall Index Score remains in negative territory, and has dipped this month, we have not seen any evidence of the predicted post-Trigger downturn, despite high levels of concern about the general economic situation of the country,' said Joe Staton of GfK.
