LONDON, Ontario, June 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Tekron, Inc. of London, Ontario (OTC Bulletin Board: TKRN; Berlin) is pleased to announce that it has finalized and executed a joint venture agreement with Vydexa Industrials Corporation, also of London, Ontario. The licence, owned by Vydexa Industrials Corporation, has been transferred to Tekron for its state-of-the- art water treatment technology, encompassing comprehensive treatment modalities for a variety of contaminant conditions. More specifically, the Pulsed Arc Electrohydraulic Discharge (PAED) technology for the treatment of chemical and microbial compounds in drinking water shall be commercialized by Tekron, throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
The President and CEO of Vydexa Industrials Corporation, Mr. Senad Kosaric, B.Sc., C.H., M.Eng. (UWO) is encouraged and excited by the joint venture alliance with Tekron. Tekron shall access a global, multi-billion dollar drinking water market and shall be poised to dominate that market with the proprietary PAED technology.
The basis for the PAED technology is the utilization of a submerged plasma spark, delivered at a specific rate and frequency, underwater. The minute explosive event occurring at the spark-gap generates point temperatures at 30,000 degrees Celsius. The explosive event creates hydrogen peroxide and ozone, two known disinfectants that retard and can completely eliminate microbial and virus species. Furthermore, the sparking plasma arc has significant effect on organic loadings in drinking water. Moreover, cavitation occurs as a phenomenon of the sparking event that further degrades organics and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in drinking water. Ultraviolet light is also emitted in quantities to kink microbial DNA and render the pathogens harmless. The phenomenon of "sonoluminescence" also occurs which, when combined with appropriate reactor design, can create harmonic vibrations in the reactor chamber that completely annihilate pathogens and organics in drinking water. In summary, from the sparking event five modalities of water treatment are possible, any one of which is presently used as a sole unit process for many existing water treatment companies. This is truly a revolutionary technology and Tekron is tasked and shall penetrate the cited markets in order to exploit this technology and bring value to its equity.
