WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Fannie Mae will not issue Callable Benchmark Notes this month. As announced in July 2004, Fannie Mae has given itself the flexibility to "pass" on issuance on any scheduled monthly announcement date, which could conceivably mean that Fannie Mae would end the year with fewer than the previously announced eight minimum Callable Benchmark Notes transactions in 2004. The company will notify the marketplace of its issuance intentions on the scheduled monthly announcement date.
