Development for better efficiency and effectiveness / Return to
profitability also in the Manage business unit in 2005
Nemetschek CREM Solutions GmbH & Co. KG, a leading vendor of
innovative software and services for Facility Management and the real
estate industry, is restructuring and implementing a comprehensive
set of measures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. By doing
so, it is paving the way for a successful future.
Having expanded its network of Facility Management international
sales partners, the company, which incorporates the activities of the
Nemetschek Group's Manage business unit, is now restructuring its own
in-house sales resources. In the future, too, the company plans to
strengthen sales by attracting qualified partners. As for Consulting,
owing to the increasingly complex and manifold nature of consulting
requirements, the company is counting on the tried and tested model
whereby external consultants are deployed in specialized segments
while the company's own consultants focus on the core fields. Further
synergies are being harnessed in conjunction with the Nemetschek
Group. Thus, development capacities are largely being outsourced to
the Bratislava facility where a part of the development output has
already been produced. The integrated commercial and technical
software solutions are being further developed as planned.
As a whole, Nemetschek CREM Solutions expects the changes to
result in a return to profitability in 2005. Says Gerhard Weiß,
Chairman of the Executive Board: "Our primary concern was to ensure
that we remain a reliable and solid partner that stands for
leading-edge products and first-class consulting for our customers.
With the new, forward-looking structure we are improving our
effectiveness and efficiency and thus putting the company back on a
solid footing. The Manage business unit is of strategic importance to
the Nemetschek Group and we will do all we can to exploit the growth
opportunities here."
