DUESSELDORF, Germany (Thomson Financial) - Vodafone Group Plc. said it is restructuring its German business by merging its marketing and retail units and realigning them into private and business customer group units.
Last week, sources already told Thomson Financial News partner dpa-AFX that Vodafone is to restructure its German unit D2 by splitting it up into business customer and private customer units.
The current head of BT Group Plc.'s German unit Jan Geldmacher is to head the business customer unit from Sept. 1, Vodafone said, confirming earlier reports.
