Colusa Biomass Energy Corporation Signs Consulting Agreement With Yet2.com

COLUSA, Calif., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Colusa Biomass Energy Corporation (Pink Sheets: CBMG), the Colusa County, California based biomass-to-ethanol company, announced today that they have engaged global technology exchange and consultancy Yet2.com of Needham, Massachusetts to partner with them in marketing their patented process of converting rice straw to ethanol.

Commenting on this strategic alliance, Tom Bowers, CEO of CBMG, stated, "We are pleased to establish a strategic alliance with Yet2.com. Yet2.com has a proven track record of helping companies identify licensing opportunities, helping them facilitate their business plans, and ultimately providing enhanced shareholder value. Our patented process of converting rice straw (rice hulls) to ethanol now has the opportunity to receive global awareness as Yet2.com is known worldwide, and we are elated about having a strategic partner with their experience. I think that our shareholders are going to be quite pleased when they see the benefits that a growth oriented company like ours will receive from working with a well established, respected group like Yet2.com."

Ben DuPont, President and Founder of Yet2.com, added, "We are very excited to have the opportunity to work with Mr. Bowers and his staff at Colusa Biomass. They have worked diligently toward providing a solution for California in converting the rice straw and rice hulls into a bona fide commodity (ethanol) -- their patented process can prevent additional pollution from impacting the environment. At the same time, they'll be able to help our economy, which is paying record prices for fuel. We have done extensive due diligence on Colusa Biomass, and we are convinced that there is a growing market, and need, for the conversion of biomass to ethanol. We are looking forward to guiding Colusa as they introduce their patented process to the global marketplace. During the course of our due diligence, we were not able to find another company that was able to provide the same technology that Colusa has created. Mr. Bowers has shown that he is committed to his shareholders, and as his newest equity partner, we will work with Colusa to attain the greatest value we possibly can."

Mr. DuPont is a founding member of Yet2.com. He brings 14 years' experience at DuPont in a variety of product development, manufacturing, and sales positions to his role at Yet2.com, where he focuses particularly on Sales and Operations, recruiting initial key corporate customers, service partners, and users.
