-- Unscripted TV Spot Turns Gridiron Great into Unlikely Hero in New Boost Mobile Commercial Scheduled to Air a Second and Final Time During Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos Game This Sunday at 3PM (ET)
Pro football player Terrell Owens is making a triumphant return this Sunday -- but it won't be on the football field. The gridiron great will appear in an unscripted TV commercial from Boost Mobile scheduled to air a second and final time just prior to kick-off at 3:05pm ET during the historic match-up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos. The 30-second commercial first hit broadcast television last Saturday, January 14 during the NFL Divisional Playoff game on CBS. T.O. fans -- and foes -- that missed the clip were able to view it immediately on the new Boost Mobile website, www.whereyouat.net and submit their comments on Terrell's exclusive testimonial.
Boost Mobile created www.whereyouat.net to be an online forum for self-expression, featuring people and personalities today's youth want to hear from. Only days after Boost Mobile first aired the Terrell Owens spot and launched www.whereyouat.net, some of the biggest stars in action sports and other celebrities expressed themselves on the website, including seven time ASP (Associations of Surfing Professionals) world championship surfer Kelly Slater, motocross superstar James "Bubba" Stewart, And1 streetball player Delonte "Prime Objective" Harrell, former MTV comedy show host Andy Milinokis, pro skateboarder and X Games gold medal winner Pierre Luc Gagnon, pro BMX rider Rick Thorne, and Houston's hip-hop tamale kingpin Chingo Bling.
Terrell Owens' unscripted TV commercial from Boost Mobile can be viewed in its entirety on www.whereyouat.net along with outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot. In addition, visitors are invited to submit words and pictures that not only express their feelings on Terrell Owens and the new TV ad, but share where they are at.
The Terrell Owens spot was developed by Berlin Cameron United, the creative force behind Boost's memorable "Anthem" and "Pivotal Moments" campaigns featuring platinum-selling artists such as Kanye West, Ludacris, The Game, Fat Joe, Eve and Travis Barker. Award-winning director Errol Morris, noted for his documentary-style, "in your face" technique, extracts powerful insights and emotions from Owens in the completely unscripted piece. Morris also directed popular clips for the NFL featuring Academy Award nominee Don Cheadle and American Express with legendary Coach Mike Kryscynksi.
