LaCrosse Footwear and Realtree Partner to Create, Promote New Camouflage Leather Hunting Boots

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LaCrosse Footwear, Inc. , a leading provider of branded work and outdoor footwear for expert users, announced a new line of LaCrosse leather hunting boots created and promoted in conjunction with Realtree(R) Camouflage. After years supplying premium quality rubber hunting footwear, LaCrosse is focused on becoming the leader in leather hunting footwear as well.

LaCrosse and Realtree have combined their expertise to co-design boots to better serve the needs of hunters in the field. In addition to Realtree's distinctive camouflage exterior, these new boots have outstanding technical merits. LaCrosse's innovative Quad Comfort(R) outsole system, with proven performance on work sites across the U.S., is featured in a hunting boot for the first time. The new boot line also incorporates GORE-TEX(R), the original waterproof, breathable membrane, and Thinsulate(TM) Ultra Insulation to keep hunters warm and dry season after season.

"Our new partnership with Realtree provides a powerful combination of superior design, high performance components and trusted brand names among hunters," said Joseph P. Schneider, President and CEO. "Leveraging the strengths and market presence of both LaCrosse and Realtree, we expect the new leather hunting line will have a powerful appeal to our target consumer."
