The Responsible Care Global Charter focuses on new and important challenges facing the chemical industry and society as a whole, including sustainable development, public health concerns, greater industry transparency and increased global harmonization among countries around the world. The Global Product Strategy includes plans for working with downstream customers, encourages best practice sharing among countries and provides opportunities for industry partnerships with intergovernmental organizations.
