Reynolds and Reynolds and JMsolutions to Extend American Auto Exchange Solution to Reynolds Dealers

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- National Automobile Dealers Association Convention and Exposition, February 11, 2006 -- The Reynolds and Reynolds Company and JMsolutions today announced that they have signed a letter of intent through which Reynolds will market the American Auto Exchange (aaXchange(R)) Vehicle Management System, powered by JMsolutions, to U.S. dealerships that use the Reynolds dealer management system.

The aaXchange VMS system enables dealerships to manage inventory with optimum efficiency through the creation of an Ideal Inventory Model(TM). Dealerships using the VMS are able to make fact-based appraisal decisions

-- ultimately providing for faster inventory turns, fewer trade losses and greater lift in the new car side of the dealership. The aaXchange VMS also boasts a one-stop location for group trades and online auction trading, as well as a single interface to support dealerships' marketing needs.

"Once finalized, our agreement with JMsolutions will represent a significant relationship for Reynolds enabling us to bring another industry leading solution to our customers," said Scot Eisenfelder, Reynolds' senior vice president, Solutions Management, Marketing and Strategic Planning. "The American Auto Exchange solution is fundamentally a business intelligence tool. Like Reynolds business intelligence tools such as Advanced Reporting, the aaXchange(R) Vehicle Management System allows dealership management to make better, faster, more informed decisions."

Scott Barrett, JMsolutions president, said, "We selected Reynolds and Reynolds for their strong commitment and passion to increasing dealership profitability, as well as their industry recognized leadership and support. We are pleased to work alongside Reynolds to increase the number of dealers who can benefit from our industry-leading solution. Dealers value it because it allows them to sell more vehicles while increasing profitability through proactive inventory management. Its appraisal tools increase trade close ratios and reduce wholesale loss, while its real-time vehicle trade desk helps increase retail unit sales and profit."

Favoritenwechsel
