BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Albemarle Corporation , the world's leading manufacturer of flame retardants, will increase the global prices for most of its brominated flame retardants by up to five percent, except for SAYTEX RB-49, SAYTEX HP-7010 and PYROCHEK 68PB flame retardants, the prices for which will be increased by up to 10 percent, all effective April 1, 2006, or as contracts allow.
