Michael C. Daconta, Vice President for Enterprise Data
Management at Oberon Associates, Inc., was selected by Federal
Computer Week Magazine to the prestigious "Federal 100," a select
group of the top 100 government, private sector and academia
professionals that most influenced government in 2005. Mr. Daconta was
awarded this honor for his work as the Metadata Program Manager for
the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). In his tenure at DHS, Mr.
Daconta led the data team for the Information Sharing Council in
response to Executive Order 13356, led an interagency working group to
produce version 2.0 of the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) Data
Reference Model (DRM) and collaborated with the Department of Justice
to launch the National Information Exchange Model (www.niem.gov). Mr.
Daconta will be featured in the March 20th issue of Federal Computer
Week.
