Delta Petroleum Corporation Schedules Earnings Conference Call for Six-Month Transition Period Ended December 31, 2005

In September 2005, the Company announced that its Board of Directors approved a change in Delta's fiscal year-end to December 31st. Historically, the Company operated on a fiscal year that ended June 30th. As a result of the change in fiscal year, the Company will report financial results for the quarter and six-month transition fiscal period before the market opens on Tuesday, March 7, 2006.
