PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania and BASINGSTOKE, England, March 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Shire plc announced today that in the pending New York litigation between Shire and Barr Laboratories, Inc. involving alleged infringement of U.S. Patent Nos. 6,322,819 and 6,605,300, the Court in a pre-trial conference scheduled the bench trial to commence on October 30, 2006.
