Aerojet was selected through an exhaustive review process wherein Boeing suppliers in more than 66 countries were evaluated. The winning supplier in each category was selected based on overall performance in product quality, on-time delivery, post-delivery supplier support and cost during the 12-month period ending September 2005.
Aerojet supplies many products to the Boeing Company including the F-22A Raptor welded titanium forward booms; Delta II second stage rocket engines; Delta IV upper stage engines; HyFly design, development and fabrication; Small Diameter Bomb warhead loading; Global Positioning System IIF propulsion systems; and bipropellant engines for commercial and defense satellites.
