NEW YORK, March 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hollinger International Inc. announced today that it expects to file its 2005 financial results on Form 10-K ("2005 10-K") on or before Friday, March 31, 2006.
The Company also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of up to an aggregate value of $50 million of its Common Stock from time to time in open market and privately negotiated transactions. The stock repurchase program will begin following the filing of the 2005 10-K, and is subject to prevailing market conditions and other considerations.
