Coinciding with the DVD release of Peter Jackson's epic film "King Kong," Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Fangoria Entertainment salute the cinematic icon with a one night only theatrical screening of "Skull Island," a historical look at the island's lost world of inhabitants, exclusively featured on the "King Kong" 2-Disc Special Edition DVD. Following "Skull Island" will be a screening of "The Sci-Fi Boys," a feature documentary that chronicles the evolution of sci-fi moviemaking and a Q&A with several legendary figures long associated with the genre.
About "King Kong" DVD: Packed with heart-pounding action, breathtaking visual effects and one of the year's most highly anticipated DVD releases, "King Kong" will be available in both single-disc and Two-Disc Collector's Edition versions on March 28, 2006.
About "The Sci-Fi Boys" DVD: Written, produced and directed by Paul Davids ("Roswell"), "The Sci-Fi Boys" documents the evolution of sci-fi monster movies into the visual effects blockbusters realized by some of today's masters of visual narrative. "The Sci-Fi Boys" is available exclusively through Best Buy on March 28, 2006.
