CHICAGO, March 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United Airlines has revised its ticketing policies for its customers with travel plans to and from Denver affected by the Denver snowstorm. These revised policies apply to all customers ticketed on or before March 19, for travel March 19-20, to and from Denver on any United(R), United Express(R), Ted(SM) or United code-share flight.
For customers currently en route who would like to adjust a return trip, rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, and/or minimum stay or Saturday night-stay requirements have been waived.
For customers who have not begun travel, one change to the travel plans may be made without change fees or advance purchase requirement for the same itinerary. For a new itinerary, one change may be made without change fees. Rescheduled travel may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet original rule and booking-codes restrictions or is a new itinerary. For all customers, only those with already canceled flights are eligible for a full refund. Passengers may make these changes by calling their travel agency or United reservations at 1-800-UNITED-1 by midnight of the original travel date.
Customers are advised to visit United's web site at united.com or to call 1-800-UNITED-1 for flight status information as the situation progresses. By going to united.com, customers may also register for United's complimentary EasyUpdate(SM) service that provides flight status alerts to a telephone, e- mail, pager or fax.
United will continue to monitor the situation and adjust ticketing policies as necessary.
