DENVER, March 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Colorado announced today that it will begin immediate recruitment for more than 120 customer service representative positions. New hires will staff a new Senior Services Call Center in Denver, Colorado in the company's 700 Broadway Building. This new call center, which will complement the work being done out of the company's existing California-based unit, will enable Anthem to be even more responsive to seniors calling for information or to enroll in the Medicare Part D plan. Specifically, Anthem believes that this call center will minimize any potential call blockage, hold and abandon rates, and support solid and consistent membership growth.
All open positions for the Senior Services Call Center have been posted on Monster and on the company's intranet site, but will be filled in three waves. The first wave will begin training in early May. Although Anthem anticipates that the majority of the new positions will be filled by external candidates, associates already working for the company may also apply.
