This interactive seminar series, which began today in Minneapolis, explores how the proliferation of electronic information, now critical in conducting the business of law, has changed how firms need to think about and manage records. Firms today are challenged to define what exactly constitutes a record; to understand the integral role that records play in other areas of the firm such as docketing, client intake and conflicts, to set and manage policies and procedures, bridge the gap between IT and records departments, and to set and adhere to risk management and compliance standards.
