DALLAS, April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Carreker Corporation , a leading provider of payments technology and consulting solutions for the financial services industry, announced today that it will delay filing its Form 10-K for fiscal 2005. As a result, the Company has filed a notification of late filing under Rule 12b-25 to extend its filing deadline. Carreker expects to report fourth quarter and fiscal year end 2005 financial results by May 2, 2006.
The Company originally planned to release fourth quarter and full year financial results on March 15, 2006, but delayed the release due to the review of an accounting issue related to deferred revenue. The Company is in the process of finalizing the review and, as initially indicated, the net adverse impact on the Statement of Operations is not expected to exceed $2.1 million. Also as previously stated, the item is not related to ongoing accounting practices, will not impact future results of operations and does not affect the Company's cash position.
The time and date of the fourth quarter and fiscal 2005 financial results release and related conference call and Web cast have not been finalized. The Company will issue a press release with these details when finalized.
