Loss Reduction, and Real-Time Global Access to Claims Data;
Product to Be Showcased at RIMS 2006, Booth 913
Cambridge Integrated Services, a leading claims and risk management services provider, today unveiled Ovation Client Portal Release 5.0 (OCP 5.0).
The Ovation Client Portal transforms claim data into usable and actionable information so that risk managers can make timely, accurate decisions to prevent losses. All the information they need about a specific claim is now a few keystrokes away, anywhere in the world. OCP is the first proven claims system to offer real-time information on claims escrow account activity.
OCP Release 5.0 has significant enhancements that will help risk managers and insurance customers to better manage their property and casualty losses at a global level as well as a department level. It provides more detailed information for individual claims, allows custom alerts to be sent, and helps clients get an overview of their entire program if they have separate insured entities/sectors.
"Enhancements contained in this latest release were developed in response to customer feedback received from actual OCP users," said Wes O'Brien, president, Cambridge Integrated Services. "With Release 5.0 we've developed an even better risk management information tool that will help our clients proactively manage their loss cost programs in a 24/7, global environment. The release of OCP 5.0 is another example of our continuing commitment to bring our clients and our adjusters the very best in quality tools and technology."
The Cambridge OCP offers additional benefits such as:
-- More robust claim detail screens that provide claim and financial data through payments, reserves, and injury pages.
-- New claim search options based on the organization description, the organization code, and claim status that allows clients to quickly look for a claim or group of claims.
-- Expanded program parameter-driven reports at the overview level of client structure, as well as program and claim detail parameter-driven reports at the individual insured or sector level.
-- New reports that assist in tracking trends in a client program, such as a report that displays data by incident number.
-- New ability for a client to prioritize and send emails based on urgency to Cambridge staff assigned to their program.
-- Enhanced functionality in issuance of real-time escrow alerts to ensure clients and their Cambridge team have real-time tools to manage their funds effectively.
-- Enhanced claim and legal alerts generated from the Ovation Claim System can be customized for clients based on line of business guidelines.
-- Customizable portal access for clients to receive specific line of business and/or jurisdiction alerts based on their responsibility for specific claims, but with continued access to all claims.
The Cambridge Ovation Client Portal Version 5.0 is available now as a risk management information technology tool to Cambridge's clients. The product will be showcased at the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) 2006 Conference, booth 913, from April 23-27, in Honolulu.
