RESX Online Booking v6.1 Beta and SELEX Agent Desktop v3.1 Beta
RESX is a leading self-service, online booking tool that allows corporate travelers to make policy-compliant travel reservations. The SELEX Agent Desktop is an inventory source-agnostic desktop tool designed for agent- assisted bookings. Beta versions of these tools, scheduled for deployment on 06 June, will feature all new hotel booking functionality. Based on user and distributor feedback, RESX Online Booking v6.2 and SELEX Agent Desktop v3.2 will enable travelers to search for available hotels by airport or city, a specific address, a custom location (e.g., Atlanta headquarters), a specific hotel name, or a specific reference point (e.g., Georgia Aquarium). The new hotel booking capabilities also provides international travelers the option of searching by distance in kilometers as opposed to miles. Additionally, travelers are able to sort hotel options by an advanced crown rating system.

Among other features in RESX Online Booking v6.2 and SELEX Agent Desktop v3.2 is the capability for travelers to make Park N Fly airport parking reservations while scheduling flights, car, and hotel arrangements. In addition to the Park N Fly booking features, TRX will also preview the redesigned RESX user interface, which is scheduled for release in Q4 2006 with RESX Online Booking v6.3.
RESX and the SELEX Agent Desktop leverage shared reservation technology as well as policy and profile layers. Both RESX and the SELEX Agent Desktop provide one-stop access to fragmented inventory, allowing one reservation, one itinerary, and one passenger name record (PNR) to include multiple travel segments regardless of inventory source. For example, travelers and agents are able to make a reservation that includes the air segments from a GDS new entrant (GNE), a hotel reservation from a consolidator Website, and a car rental from a global distribution system (GDS) -- and receive one confirmed itinerary that includes all trip components.
SELEX Workflow Manager v4.1
Recently made available to the marketplace, SELEX Workflow Manager has been in use at TRX for over four years. The release of SELEX Workflow Manager v4.1, scheduled for 30 June 2006, includes a range of new options that increase supervisors' prioritization capabilities, providing them with more flexibility to change their teams' workflow priorities as day-to-day volume levels fluctuate. The new version also increases corporate management features, provides more intelligent routing based on ticketing timelines, and includes proactive management communications when workload exceeds tolerable thresholds to further reduce the possibility of missed ticketing deadlines or other time related errors.
SELEX Workflow Manager is one of four TRX SELEX tools, designed to manage transactional tasks, track agent productivity, and identify process error trends. The tool provides complete agent productivity and transaction tracking for any type of transaction or data record and automates the assessment and management of queue levels in real time. The tool routes assignments based on transaction priority, agent skill sets, and client-specific policy to ensure it processes all transactions on time. With SELEX Workflow Manager, clients are able to cross utilize agents across physical locations and clients.
