
CHICAGO, May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NAVTEQ , a leading global provider of digital map data for vehicle navigation and location-based solutions, has reached another milestone in Eastern Europe by providing a full coverage map of Poland. Included in the data set is over 600,000 km of roads.

Customers and business partners integrating the map into consumer and business applications will have access to data representing over 2,400 cities and will be able to use NAVTEQ map data not only in the urban cities of Warszawa and Lodz, but also in the resort areas of the Beskidy foothills and the Tatra National Forest. In addition to the road network, the full coverage map of Poland includes more than 63,000 points of interest including approximately 2,000 petrol stations, 500 restaurants, and 350 hotels.
