RENO, Nev., May 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GameTech International, Inc. , a leading designer, developer and marketer of electronic bingo equipment and bingo systems, today announced that John McCafferty had been named as Vice-President of Product Marketing. The appointment was effective Monday, May 22, 2006. McCafferty is a knowledgeable gaming executive with over ten years of senior level business and gaming experience who had previously assisted GameTech in a consultant role and was instrumental in the creation GameTech's Compliance and Governmental Affairs departments. He also was a member of GameTech's Compliance Committee.
Prior to his return to GameTech, Mr. McCafferty was the Vice-President of Operations for Bally Gaming where he managed Sales and Service as well as Customer Relations for the State of Washington and Class II Sales in Oregon, California, Alaska, Wyoming, and North and South Dakota. Prior to Bally, McCafferty was employed by Aristocrat, Inc where he was involved with International Sales, Quality and Compliance. Previously, he spent 19 years with the Oregon State Police in various positions including Criminal Division Commander. McCafferty attended college at Southern Oregon concentrating his studies in Business and Law Enforcement.
