pressetext: Earlier this year in April, the Von Muhlenen
AG won with the Emmentaler and Gruyere Premier Cru three gold medals
at the World Championships in Wisconsin USA, and with its Emmental
Premier Cru they won the overall title of "Worlds Best Cheese" out of
1700 different cheeses.
At the world cheese award in England, Von Muhlenen participated with 13 cheeses with every cheese winning an award:
Gold certificates have received:

-- Le Gruyere Premier Cru from the Niedermuhren dairy
-- Le Gruyere Classic from the Struss dairy
-- Emmentaler Premier Cru, Classic from the Mutten dairy

The success at the World Cheese Awards, underlines the excellent quality of all cheeses produced by von Muhlenen which enabled them to win in total 8 different World-Champion titles.

The Von Muhlenen family created its company and ripening cellars in 1861, and has ever since, been an important player in Swiss cheese making history.
