ORLANDO, Fla., June 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Holdings, Inc. , the parent company of AirTran Airways, will celebrate Independence Day by sponsoring several Atlanta events on July 4.
AirTran Airways will sponsor WSB-TV's Salute 2 America Parade, the country's largest Independence Day parade, and will be the title sponsor of the AirTran Airways 4th of July at Lenox Square, the largest fireworks show in the southeast. The Salute 2 America Parade will feature an AirTran Airways float entitled "Go. There's Nothing Stopping You," as well as an AirTran Airways plane balloon. During the AirTran Airways 4th of July at Lenox Square, the airline will give away roundtrip tickets to any destination it serves within the United States.
