Lincoln Military Housing (LMH), an affiliate of Lincoln Property Company has raised the customer service bar again as it rolls out a new wireless broadband Internet service to the residents of its Gateway Center and Naval Training Center (NTC) communities in San Diego, California. Nearly 1000 apartments will have access to the high speed wireless Internet service as an amenity provided throughout the two housing complexes.
LMH worked with Wireless Evolutions, a fast growing wireless communications service provider based in Texas, which has deployed 39 BelAir Networks wireless mesh access nodes in the two communities to provide secure, reliable high-speed wireless access to the residents of the two military housing communities. The ability of BelAir Networks wireless mesh to support Voice over Wi-Fi and video will allow the support of future applications where residents will be able to play video games via the Internet and to enjoy visual communications with friends and family located around the world.
Wireless Evolutions installed a variety of BelAir Networks wireless mesh nodes in the two residential complexes to create the powerful network. As a BelAir Networks reseller, Wireless Evolutions knew the product line met several key criteria required by LMH including high performance, reliability and the ability to support multiple broadband applications concurrently.
The network is currently installed and already generating positive feedback from residents.
