The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES(R)),
the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, congratulates TWICE
magazine for winning an honorable mention "Tabbie" award for its 2005
International CES issue and post-show edition. Presented by the Trade,
Association and Business Publications International group, the
"Tabbie" awards are an editorial and design competition that is open
to English-language business-to-business publications worldwide that
are published at least quarterly.
"We are thrilled to see TWICE win a 'Tabbie' award for the second year in a row for its International CES news coverage," said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association, the producer of the International CES. TWICE's 2006 Tabbie award was in the News Coverage category. The "Tabbies" are judged by editors of B to B publications around the world. The awards program drew almost 800 nominations from Australia, Canada, Germany, India, Ireland, Lebanon, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United States.
TWICE has also won the Best Digital TV Journalism award from CEA's Academy of Digital Television Pioneers in 2002 and 2004.
The 2007 International CES will be held Monday through Thursday, January 8-11, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada. CES information can be found at www.CESweb.org.
