Republic Services, Inc. to Increase Dividend By 14 Percent


FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Republic Services, Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a 14 percent increase in the Company's regular quarterly dividend program from $0.14 per share to $0.16 per share. The quarterly dividend of $0.16 per share will be paid on October 16, 2006 to shareholders of record on October 2, 2006.
