CHELMSFORD, Mass., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Brooks Automation, Inc. today announced that it has filed an amended Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for its first fiscal quarter of 2006 ended December 31, 2005. The Company also filed an additional amendment to its Form 10-K for the year ended September 30, 2005 solely to include the consent from its independent registered public accounting firm to the incorporation by reference of their report on the Company's restated financial statements into the Company's existing registration statements on Form S-8, which had not been included pending completion of all required restatements and related filings. Brooks announced that it is now current with all of its periodic filings with the SEC.
Recently, Brooks filed its amended Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended September 30, 2005 and its Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q for each of the fiscal quarters ended on March 31, 2006 and June 30, 2006. Prior to these filings, on July 25, 2006, Brooks received notice from the Nasdaq Stock Market that Brooks' common stock would not be de-listed provided that the Company filed its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended March 31, 2006 and all requested restatements on or prior to August 15, 2006. These required filings are now completed.
