CHICAGO, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bally Total Fitness Holding Corporation today announced that James F. McAnally, M.D. has resigned from the Board of Directors. Dr. McAnally has served on the Board of Directors since the Company first became publicly traded in 1996. Dr. McAnally's medical perspective brought insights to the board as society faces the growing threat of obesity and begins to understand the benefits of fitness and nutrition. He was instrumental in helping Bally branch out into new areas and stay current with medical trends.
