Capitol Insurance Companies Selects STG's Renaissance Billing

NEW YORK, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Middleton, Wisconsin based Capitol Insurance Companies ("Capitol") has chosen Systems Task Group's (STG) Renaissance Billing Solution to support their billing and accounts receivable operations.

Through this agreement, STG's Renaissance Billing solution will replace Capitol's existing billing systems to support all lines of business, including fidelity and surety bonds. Renaissance Billing will enable the consolidation, centralization and the streamlining of Capitol's cash management and accounting operations and will provide Capitol with advanced technology support, flexibility, and configurability.

"Consolidation to a single billing system for all business lines was the driving factor in our search for new technology. The flexibility and configurability inherent within Renaissance Billing will allow us to make changes very efficiently," said Troy Lethem, CIO of Capitol. "Implementing Renaissance Billing will enable us to adapt quickly to changes in the insurance marketplace."

"We are delighted to have Capitol as our customer and look forward to a long-term relationship. Billing has moved to the forefront of carrier investment strategies as the need to improve the customer experience combines with the need for tighter financial controls for SOX and the need to refresh the technology stacks of the back office," said Anil Chitale, Executive Director of STG. "Our commitment towards creating a best-of-breed Billing and Accounts Receivable solution for the property and casualty industry enables carriers to refresh their technology, enable process and financial control improvements and improve their standing with their customers and agents."
