NEW YORK, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Fund, Inc. , a closed-end bond fund, issued a correction to the portfolio composition information as of July 31, 2006 included in a release dated August 24, 2006.
The previous announcement indicated that as of July 31, 2006 the currency exposure of the Fund included 61.7% to the Australian dollar and 9.4% to the U.S. dollar. The actual Fund exposure to the two respective currencies as of July 31, 2006 was 41.1% to Australian dollars and 30.0% to U.S. dollars. All other disclosures in the previous announcement are believed to be accurate.
