INDIANA, Pa., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- S&T Bank plans to break ground for a new S&T Financial Center to be located in Altoona, Blair County, Pa. A groundbreaking ceremony is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the construction site located at 800 Logan Boulevard.

He added, "The opening of this office will enable us provide both consumers and businesses with the products and personal service they need to reach their financial goals."
When complete in Summer 2007, this new facility will replace the bank's existing Financial Center located along West Plank Road and will offer the full spectrum of financial services. For the business customer, S&T Bank will provide its entire line of business products including free basic business checking, business loans, deposit services, cash management, merchant servicing, employee benefits, retirement programs, insurance and investment counseling.
For consumers, this new office will offer checking accounts including free checking, savings account services, and loan opportunities as well as a wide array of investment and insurance choices. The office will be open six days a week for drive-up and lobby services and will also feature 24-hour ATM service.
In addition to the S&T Bank Financial Center, S&T operates a full-service banking office in the Strawberry Meadows/Martin's Plaza in Ducansville, Pa.
