OTTAWA, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MOSAID Technologies Incorporated (TSX: MSD) today confirmed that the record date for determining the persons entitled to vote at the annual and special meeting of shareholders to be held on September 22, 2006 is the close of business on August 1, 2006. Shareholders who purchased common shares of MOSAID after the record date are entitled to vote these shares at the meeting, subject to complying with conventional procedures which have been established to ensure the integrity of the voting process. Shareholders wishing to vote shares acquired after the record date must submit a written demand no later than September 15, 2006 to CIBC Mellon Trust Company requesting that their name be added to the list of persons entitled to vote at the Meeting.
