LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- It was announced today that country music superstars Brooks & Dunn will anchor a Country Cruise Getaway set for January 31 through February 3, 2007, headlining an intimate, exclusive concert onboard Carnival Cruise Lines' newest ship, Carnival Liberty, during a 3-Day Bahamas cruise. The Country Cruise Getaway starring Brooks & Dunn will set sail on January 31, 2007 aboard the 2,974-passenger SuperLiner, offering passengers a musical jaunt through paradise accompanied by some of country music's hottest new stars.
Several of the special Country Cruise guests were announced today and include, Blue Collar Comedy Tour star, Bill Engvall, Jypsi, Jamie O'Neil and Little Big Town and the Nashville Hitmakers.
Embarking in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the Country Cruise Getaway will kick things off right as passengers are welcomed aboard with a special bon voyage deck party featuring live entertainment and cocktails. The Carnival Liberty will then cruise to Nassau, Bahamas and on to Freeport Bahamas, where after passengers have the opportunity to explore the exciting ports of call, Brooks & Dunn will board the ship for a special, intimate concert onboard.
While at sea, music fans will be treated to a variety of live concerts with some of country music's hottest young performers and songwriters, and have the opportunity to participate in "behind the music" Q&A sessions with all of the artists onboard, including Brooks & Dunn.
In addition to popular shipboard activities such as relaxing by the pool, working out in the ship's state-of-the-art gym, indulging in a massage or facial, or dining in one of the ship's four restaurants, passengers will be invited to take line dancing lessons and to participate in a special art auction. The ship also offers a fun and entertaining Camp Carnival for kids from 2 to 14 years old, as well as a teen program, Club O2, for older kids.
