NCI Building Systems Names New Executives To Lead Business Units Within Engineered Building Systems Division

HOUSTON, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NCI Building Systems, Inc. today announced new executives to lead the two business units within its Engineered Building Systems division. Mark Dobbins has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of NCI Building Systems LP, and Keith Fischer has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of the new RCC business unit, which was created as a result of the recent acquisition of Robertson-Ceco Corporation ("RCC").

"Both executives will report directly to Norm Chambers, President and Chief Operating Officer of NCI Building Systems, Inc.," said A. R. Ginn, the Company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

As CEO of NCI Building Systems LP, Dobbins will oversee all aspects of the business unit's companies, including Metallic Building Company, Mid-West Steel Building, A&S Building Systems, Mesco Building Solutions, IPS and Building Systems de Mexico.

Dobbins joined MBCI, an NCI company, in 1988 and has served in various managerial capacities within the organization. Most recently Dobbins served as President and Chief Operating Officer of NCI Building Systems LP.

"Mark Dobbins continues to provide the Company a wealth of operational expertise, leadership and focus on details. His knowledge and direction will prove to be a valuable asset in NCI's continued growth and market dominance in the engineered metal buildings market," said Ginn.

The continued integration of NCI's highly efficient and cost-effective fabrication facilities, as well as the assimilation of advanced proprietary software obtained during the RCC acquisition, will remain a priority for NCI Building Systems LP, according to Dobbins.

"Our focus will remain on serving customers with the highest quality products, at fair prices, backed by unrivaled customer service and attention. The fabrication and technology integration will further improve our ability to exceed our customers' expectations," said Dobbins.

Keith Fischer, a registered professional engineer, brings 30 years of industry experience, including more than half as a design/build metal building contractor, to his new position as President and CEO of the Engineered Building division's RCC business unit. In this capacity, Fischer will oversee the three companies within the RCC business unit: Robertson Building Systems, Star Building Systems and Ceco Building Systems.

Previously, Fischer served dual roles as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for NCI Building Systems, LP and as the President of Metallic Building Company, one of the companies within the Buildings division.

"Keith Fischer's extensive experience as a builder in the metal construction industry gives him a unique perspective on our customers' needs. We are confident that his professional experience, keen grasp of industry trends and leadership qualities will serve the Company well in his new role," said Ginn.

According to Fischer, the combination of RCC's advanced technical systems, coupled with NCI's vast array of high-quality product and service offerings, will allow each RCC company to enhance the already strong relationships they have with their builders.

"Our customers will directly benefit from our utilization and continued development of best practices, which will be employed in every aspect of servicing our builders' needs for custom-engineered metal buildings. As we continue to elevate the industry's standards, our builders will continue to benefit from enhanced product offerings that serve to differentiate them from their competitors," said Fischer.
