BEAVERTON, Ore., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nike, Inc. today announced that Mark Duggan, an experienced sales leader with a 25 year tenure at the company, has been named to head the company's Nike Bauer hockey subsidiary. Duggan will report to Lee Bird, Nike's Vice President of Subsidiaries.

Duggan succeeds Chris Zimmerman who is departing to become President/CEO of Orca Bay Sports & Entertainment -- the ownership group of the Vancouver Canucks NHL franchise. Duggan has held numerous sales leadership and general manager positions throughout his Nike career, including: General Manager- Partners Region, Director of Americas Commerce, Global Sales, USA Sales, and Global Equipment, Training and Development. He also has held regional and territory sales management positions.
In his new role, Duggan will be responsible for driving continued growth in Nike Bauer's hockey equipment business. He inherits a brand that is regarded as widely dominant in the hockey equipment business, with approximately 60 percent of NHL players wearing Nike Bauer skates.
A former competitive runner, coach and educator, Mark holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston State University and the University of Massachusetts.
