SEATTLE, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cutter & Buck Inc. announced today that its shareholders have elected seven directors to the Company's Board of Directors. The directors elected at the company's annual meeting on Thursday include the six incumbent board members, Douglas G. Southern, Ernest R. Johnson, Henry L. (Skip) Kotkins, Larry C. Mounger, Whitney R. Tilson, James C. Towne and new member Thomas F. O'Riordan. O'Riordan has a wealth of experience in branded apparel, including previous service in various executive capacities at Fila Holding Company and Adidas America. He is currently a consultant with Sports Brands International, a privately held manufacturer and retailer of branded footwear, apparel and accessories.
As previously disclosed, one nominee withdrew his candidacy for director. As a result, the company's Board of Directors reduced the size of the Board from eight to seven directors.
At the annual meeting, Cutter & Buck shareholders also approved the company's 2006 Equity Incentive Plan and were given an opportunity to view many of the company's new products, including the new "CBUK" brand, the Annika women's golf line and styles in the CB ProTec(TM) line featuring new and innovative technical fabrications.
