A recent survey says 73 percent of internationally traveling boomers are interested in river cruising - which makes sense, considering 87 percent want to immerse themselves in the culture and history of new international destinations. Lisa Juarez of Viking River Cruises says river cruising gives travelers the chance to discover regions otherwise inaccessible by ocean cruising.
