SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Silicon Image, Inc. , a leader in semiconductors for the secure storage, distribution and presentation of high-definition content, today filed its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2006. The filing contains no changes from the financial results announced on Oct. 26, 2006 for the third quarter of 2006.
Silicon Image is in the process of finalizing its previously announced voluntary internal review of its historical stock option compensation practices. The Audit Committee of Silicon Image's Board of Directors is currently overseeing the internal review. Although the internal review has not yet been completed, the company has not found any evidence of intentional wrongdoing with respect to its historical stock option practices. The previously announced SEC inquiry into the company's option-granting practices during the period Jan. 1, 2004 through Oct. 31, 2006 is ongoing.
