The Office of the Election Supervisor completed the count of all ballots returned by members eligible to vote in the election of the Teamsters Union International Officers. 272,820 ballots were counted from members of 713 Local Unions in the United States and Canada.
This report includes the number of challenged ballots logged in each of the officer contests. There is no need to resolve any of the challenged ballots because the margin of victory exceeds the number of challenged ballots for each contest. Rules for the 2005-2006 IBT International Union Delegate and Officer Election, Article IV, § 9. This announcement is made under Article XIII, § 3(a)(2) of the Rules.
