Issue of Shares in connection with the reconstruction of Merrill Lynch Asset
Allocator plc

Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc (the 'Company') announces today, 23 November
2006, that following the issue of shares to shareholders in connection with the
scheme of reconstruction of Merrill Lynch Asset Allocator plc, the following
shares are now in issue:

  * 44,752,594 UK Equity Shares
   
  * 37,595,658 Global Equity Shares
   
  * 19,587,501 Hedge Fund Shares
   
  * 18,386,589 Managed Liquidity Shares
   
  * 10,625,949 A Shares
   
The ISINs of the shares are as follows:

  * Global Equity Shares - GB00B1DQ6472
   
  * Hedge Fund Shares - GB00B1DQ6696
   
  * Managed Liquidity Shares - GB00B1DQ6704

All of the above shares in the Company have today been admitted to the Official
List and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. 200 of the
above UK Equity Shares arose from subscriber shares in the Company and are held
by INVESCO Asset Management Limited.

Dealings in the Shares have commenced with effect from 8.00 am on 23 November
2006.
